A Chance Meeting - A Chance Connection?

"It is by chance we met, by choice we became friends."

There I was, on my way to work in the morning on the 7:21 train from Box Hill. Normally I look out the window, glancing at the scenery along the way. At this time of day, the trains can be packed out, but it was a Friday and not all the seats were taken for some reason.

Anyway, the doors opened and a few people got on - one lady sat right opposite me pulled out her news paper and began reading. Each time she turned the page I caught a glimpse of her face and she smiled back at me. She was kind of cheeky and left her stare at me just long enough for us to connect.

You know what I thought she was going to the city, so I didn't even make a move on her. Before I knew it, she got up let another passenger take her seat and she got off the train just before the city loop. Gee how slack was I to do a flat nothing, while we were trading smiles and winks!

But hope is at hand. I didn't want to loose all track of her altogether, so I posted up a note on the encounter on http://www.lookhook.com.au  Who knows? She may see the note and reply back to me, it’s much better than doing nothing and forgetting I ever saw her.
